However I neglected to give them the address.
Several very quick folks noticed that mistake and kindly pointed it out to me just as I was coming back to the computer to do that very task.
I guess proofreading wasn't part of my personal history.
I will try to do better.

About 100 days from now I am in India !

In about 100 days from now I will be back in India.
As activities planned begin to fall into place I can only anticipate the reactions to my group as they start a new adventure.
In Ahmedabad we will be touring Ghandi's ashram. It is in a tranquil setting in the midst of a 3 1/2 million people. Lots of displays to see and artifacts from Ghandi's life are there for us to marvel over- including his spinning wheel.

Also in Ahmedabad we will be having a natural dye workshop from an award winner- It should be fun and a good insight into learning through an interpreter.

Ready, get set, go!

It is about 114 days til the "India in the Palm of your hand" group starts exploring and learning in India.
The group of 6 will arrive in Ahmedabad, India on or about the 9th of January ,2011. I know they will be jet lagged and excited all at the same time. The flight arrives at 6:40 am after an exhausting series of flights.
5 of the group will be travelling together from Toronto to Brussels to Mumbai and finally Ahmedabad.
They will be greeted by our friendly driver ,Gaurav and driven to the first hotel adventure -the Arts Reverie.
The group will be joined by our other adventurer who is coming from Ontario via a Mumbai visit with friends and relatives.
While in Ahmedabad we will visit temples, shrines, bazaars, museums and the kite festival day pre-activities. One other activity will be a natural dye workshop from an award winning artist.
Of course restaurants and walking tours will take place as will the all important shopping- not in malls but in stalls!
This a a view from the hotel window. Are they ready? Who knows only time will tell.
